Representative council and the elections:

Aalto University’s student union’s (AYY) representative council elections are held every second year. The council holds the highest authority in the student union. All members of Aalto University Student Union may stand as candidates in the Representative Council Elections.

Schedule:

• Sep 4 – Oct 2 2017: The timeperiod in which documents should be submitted to the Central Election Committee (nomination forms and electoral coalition and alliance agreements)
• Oct 9 2017: The candidate list will be published
• Oct 30 – Nov 11 2017: Voting is open (please see vaalit.ayy.fi for more information)
• Nov 8 2017: Counting the votes and results
• Nov 11 2017: Control counting & confirmation of the results
