The time has come for Kino Sheryl to close its doors. The last screenings will be held on Sunday, June 11th.The cinema’s staff has been searching for a new movie theatre space for the past year and found a few potential candidates. It might be that we’ll meet again in a new location. However, the cinema in Arabianranta is closing for good, as a new tenant will be taking over the facilities.

The cinema is not closing because of too few viewers. In fact the number of yearly viewers has been continualy growing. The closing is happening because the operator of the facilities, Aalto University, is moving away and the space has been rented to another tenant with different needs for the space.
We thank all our customers and friends over the years and hope to see you before we draw the curtains one last time. On the final week we’ll be showing audience favourites, which you will soon get to pick on our Facebook page.
The children’s movie course and summer camps this summer will not be affected by the closing of the cinema.
