Our dear ARTS students, this is the moment we have all been waiting for so long. MASKERAD 2021 is coming!✨

Wait..what is Maskerad?

It is TOKYO’s annual party held in late autumn. This year we are celebrating our 60th anniversary!👵🏼

As the name suggests, it is a costume party, the biggest one in Aalto for sure. Maskerad showcases the boldest costume designs and the grandest one will receive eternal glory and first price of The Maskerad Costume Competition. The theme of the party changes every year, and we will be announcing this year's theme very very soon! (As well as the date, but promise there will be time to craft your outfit).

Stay tuned, keep your eyes open, tell your friends if you hear something.👀

✺ TOKYO’s Lapland trip is back!!! ✺⁣ ⁣

We will be visiting Kilpisjärvi, this village is located in the northwest extremity of Finnish Lapland, bordered by Norway, Sweden, Kilpisjärvi lake and the majestic Saana fell, sacred to the Sami people. Here you can find the untouched nature, coldest temperatures, and the highest Northern light visibility! ⁣ We will also visit Rovaniemi, Skibotn (Day trip) and Oulu.⁣ ⁣

This trip is for Aalto ARTS students and TOKYO members. ⁣ ⁣

Hello fellow ARTS folk!

TOKYO is arranging an Extra General Meeting on Mon 30.08.2021 at 17:00 (Helsinki).

In the meeting, we will be voting for a new Communications responsible to join our 2021 board of TOKYO this fall period.

The meeting will be arranged in Zoom. You can find the link on bio!

The new Communications will team up with one more person as a super team and other Board members to vibrate the spirit and matters of ARTS for the fall semester. You can still join the meeting to appoint yourself for the role or to vote for others. Communications will be in charge of spreading the voice of the ARTS community through visual communications on our channels and around the campus. If you are interested and would like to know more or apply for this position before the meeting, feel free to send email to hallitus@tokyo.fi

Also, remember you can only join TOKYO Board if you are a TOKYO member. If you haven't yet paid your membership for this academic year, you can still do so in TOKYO's Holvi shop! More information can be found on bio.
