One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.
In the honor of green values and recycling, which TOKYO deeply believes in, we launched a new event in spring 2014. The idea of this very event is simply to move stuff from its old owners, not to trash can, but new loving hands.
The event, which is a brainchild of Nina Chen, TOKYOs board’s international affairs responsible of 2014, is based on three ground rules:
1) Each participant are allowed to bring 5 items.
2) Participants can take as many items as they want.
3) Items for swapping should be in good condition and clean.
In other words, in Clothing Swap you don’t have to deal with money, because only clothes and accessories change their owners. One can also just bring his/her items in, without being obligated to wait for the whole day for them to pass forwards.
