Kino Sheryl supports the teaching and research of cinema

Newly opened Kino Sheryl is the newest and most exciting cinema in Helsinki.

Kino Sheryl is joint project of TOKYO and Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture, and the aim is to develop the film industry, education and research.

Kino Sheryl will show your favorite films, but also the art house movies, as well as films produced in Department of Film, TV and Scenography.

– Kino Sheryl’s movie viewer can experience a completely new experience, which is not offered elsewhere, says CEO of the theater Ilmari Arnkil.

The theater’s opening are celebrated on Wednesday 25.2. when director Roy Andersson is visiting Kino Sheryl.
