Be the responsible tutor of your department for the academic year 2015-2016!
This year ARTS is recruiting five responsible tutors, one for each department. Their role is to help organizing the tutoring in their department and support the tutors in their job. The recruitment period is 10.3.-28.3.2016. If you have experience in working with a group, you know the practices of your department and you want to help welcoming the new students, you are exactly the person we are looking for!
As a responsible tutor your role is to help, support and advise the student tutors of your department. Together with the tutor coordinator of ARTS you make sure that all the tutors have the knowledge and know-how they need in their job. You help the tutors in organizing events, other practical stuff and try to make sure that everything goes as planned!
The position includes some amount of planning work with the tutor coordinator and other responsible tutors already in the spring of 2016, but most of the work begins a little before the orientation days (22.-23.8.2016). The responsible tutors get paid a total of 400€ from their task: first 200€ at the end of the autumn period and again 200€ at the end of the spring period.
You’ll receive tutor training organized by AYY and the university (on 12.4., 13.4., 3.5. or 4.5.). In addition to that there will be training for just ARTS tutors in May 2016 (the exact time will be announced later).

In addition to the responsible tutors we are also recruiting a larger group of student tutors, who will have less responsibility but still play a super important role in welcoming the new students! You can apply both for the task of a student tutor and a responsible tutor, but you can only be chosen for one task.
